Location and Setting
The City of San Pablo is one of the oldest cities in the Philippines. It is a 1st class city located in the southern portion of Laguna province. In terms of land area, San Pablo can be said to be the largest city in the province of Laguna.
The City is also an independent diocese and is home to the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Pablo. Before that, it was part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lipa.

Setting
The City of San Pablo is popularly known as the “City of Seven Lakes,” as the area is home to: Lake Sampaloc, Lake Palakpakin, Lake Bunot, Lakes Pandin and Yambo, Lake Muhikap, and Lake Calibato.
